Use the profiles
Every profile describes temperament and favourite subjects. Reading two or three before you begin saves time and makes the first exchange far better.
Ask for a story
Name a setting, a mood and a length. A night train, something gentle, ten minutes. That is usually all it takes.
Come back
Conversation improves with continuity. A companion who already knows about tomorrow’s early start makes better company than one meeting you for the first time.
